The roof section needs lifting up and off with two hands, and younger children are just too small, or they just haven't developed the motor skills yet to do it. They tend to lift the roof sideways, which breaks the fixings. If you just can't wait (and I don't blame you!) then we suggest removing the roof for playtimes. And if your small homeowner is still popping things in their mouths then we also suggest storing the smaller dollshouse accessories until a later date.
